I’m that guy who figures out a neat way to do a task faster or automatically.  I’m the guy still able to write batch scripts in DOS and can make them run with a button on the start bar.

You’ve met guys like me before.  I’m always ready to show you the latest thing that I’ve figured out or the latest product that I’ve downloaded.

More specifically, I’m a dad with a wife and 3 kids.  I’ve made at least a dozen little websites on all sorts of topics, even one on how to make websites.  I’m the family tech support guy that keeps the internet working at home and all of the PC’s, TV’s, and anything technical working.

I like to find tips and I like to try them out.  I plan to focus this site on not just tips, but actually how to implement them.  If part of the tip is to keep track of something, I’ll give you a sample spreadsheet to do that.  I won’t suggest that you buy something without giving you some options of where to buy it and what it might cost.

I want to lower that barrier between the tip and implementing the tip.
